Welcome to PawNido. This Privacy Policy explains how PawNido (“PawNido”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit www.pawnido.com or use the PawNido mobile application.

PawNido is designed with privacy in mind. You can use the mobile application without creating an account, and personal pet information is primarily stored locally on your device.

1. Information Stored on Your Device

The PawNido mobile application may allow you to create and manage pet profiles, pet photos, feeding records, water records, medicine reminders, vaccination reminders, veterinary appointments, grooming records, training progress, weight history, health notes, reminder completion history, and application preferences.

This information is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to the PawNido servers unless a feature clearly informs you otherwise and asks for your permission.

You can delete locally stored pet information from the application settings. You may also remove local application data by uninstalling the application or clearing its storage through your device settings.

2. Information We May Collect Automatically

When you visit the PawNido website or connect to its public content services, our hosting provider and technical systems may automatically receive limited technical information, including:

• Your Internet Protocol (IP) address;
• Browser type and version;
• Device type and operating system;
• Pages viewed and links visited;
• Date and time of access;
• Referring website or source;
• General diagnostic, security, and error information.

We use this information to operate the website, provide public content, maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose technical problems, and improve the performance of our services.

3. Public Content and Backend Services

The PawNido backend stores and manages public and administrative content such as dog and cat breed information, care tips, general health information, training lessons, reminder templates, website pages, application settings, and advertising settings.

Personal pet profiles, private medical notes, reminders, logs, and training progress created in the mobile application are not normally stored on the PawNido backend.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

PawNido and its service providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, web beacons, device identifiers, and similar technologies. These technologies may be used to:

• Maintain website functionality and security;
• Remember consent and privacy choices;
• Measure website and advertising performance;
• Prevent fraud and abuse;
• Display personalized or non-personalized advertisements, where permitted.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the availability or operation of some website features.

5. Advertising and Google AdSense

PawNido may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising partners, including Google AdSense or other Google advertising services.

You may change or withdraw your consent through the privacy settings or consent message made available on the website. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before the withdrawal.

7. Third-Party Services

PawNido may use third-party services for website hosting, content delivery, security, error monitoring, breed data imports, and advertising. These providers may process limited technical information when necessary to provide their services.

External dog and cat breed APIs are accessed by the PawNido backend during administrator-controlled imports. API credentials are not intentionally exposed to website visitors or the mobile application.

Third-party services operate under their own privacy policies. PawNido does not control how independent third parties process information after it has been provided to them.

8. Data Sharing

PawNido does not directly sell personal pet profiles, private pet records, medical notes, reminders, or training history.

We may share limited technical information with service providers when necessary to operate, secure, maintain, or monetize the website. Depending on the laws that apply in your location, the use of advertising technologies may be considered data “sharing” or “targeted advertising”.

We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or a valid request from a competent authority, or when reasonably necessary to protect PawNido, its users, or the public.

9. Data Retention

Information stored locally in the PawNido application remains on your device until you delete it, clear the application data, or uninstall the application.

Technical server logs and security information may be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, compliance, fraud prevention, and service operation.

Third-party providers, including advertising providers, may retain information according to their own privacy policies and retention periods.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect PawNido systems and the limited information processed through them. However, no website, application, internet transmission, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users are responsible for protecting access to their devices and for maintaining appropriate device backups and security settings.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding personal information controlled by PawNido, including the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of certain information.

Because most personal pet information is stored locally, PawNido may not have access to that information. Local information can be managed directly through the application or device settings.

Requests concerning information processed independently by Google or another third-party provider should also be submitted directly to that provider.

12. Children’s Privacy

PawNido is intended for a general audience and is not designed to collect personal information from children under the age of 13, or the minimum age required in their country.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information directly to PawNido, please contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete the information.

13. Health and Veterinary Information

PawNido provides general educational information about pets. It does not provide veterinary diagnosis, medical treatment, emergency services, or professional veterinary advice.

Always consult a qualified veterinarian regarding a pet’s health, medicine, symptoms, vaccination, diet, or treatment. In an emergency, contact a veterinarian or animal emergency service immediately.

14. International Visitors

PawNido and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Privacy and data-protection laws may differ between countries. Where required, appropriate safeguards will be used for international data processing.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, technologies, advertising partners, or legal obligations change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
