History
An ancient indigenous breed of Vietnam's northern mountains, the Lài dog (sometimes called Chó Lài or Vietnamese Dingo) developed as a versatile hunting, herding, and guard dog. It is widely considered one of Vietnam's native primitive spitz breeds, known for intelligence, adaptability, and resilience. Not recognized by major international kennel clubs but documented in local standards.
