Large, powerful, and muscular sighthound with an elegant build, short coat, and dignified appearance, known for its speed, courage, stamina, and reserved nature. Bred for hunting in Polish terrain with great determination and character.
Ancient Polish sighthound breed with origins dating back to the 13th century used by nobility for hunting hare fox deer boar and wolves. Nearly extinct after WWII but successfully revived through careful breeding programs in the latter half of the 20th century.
